  This course has been designed to assist Local Board members in understanding their roles, responsibilities, and authorities, and to provide the information and tools to better serve the Public Health needs of their communities.

  The course requires that the candidate also complete ICS 100 and 700. The Incident Command System, or ICS, is a standardized, on-scene, all-hazard incident management concept (www.fema.gov).

  Board members who successfully complete the course will be certified by NJLBHA as a Certified Board of Health Member, and will be entitled to use the initials CBHM after their names.
